Evening all, my first post having bought my latest love affair last weekend, a 2020 Husky 701 SM. im obviously getting used to her at the moment, but I’m slightly troubled by the rev limiter. I read about loads of owners saying how revvy the engine is and how infrequently they hit the limiter, however that’s not my experience so far.
It's routed as close as possible to the bike to help with the slim profile, and the exhaust shape has been optimized for hard offroad usage. For 2021, the KTM 690 SMC R has some additional hardware, this comes in the form of a new specification of catalytic converter in the muffler. With this addition, the KTM 690 SMC R meets EURO 5 regulations.

They also seem to be holding up very well, and can't suffer a total failure like the previous version is known forwhich is all that I am concerned about. I ended up leaving the oem one on, and
