I have been in contact with Abbott and after the third call and three failed sensors this week, I have been eventually been informed that there is a compatibility problem with the iPhone SE and the sensor.
iOS updates generally aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. Libre Sensor issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety.

Below are some tips on how to resolve errors during the upload process. If they do not resolve your issue, please contact Customer Support.

June 8, 2022, the Libre2 iPhone App Fails to open using iOS 16.0 Beta 1 on my iPhone 12 Pro. Glad I only had 4 days left on the patch! Aug 15/22 - still not working for me. Tried customer support - basically asked for log info and details on app that I explained crashes upon opening. Not a great experience. Connect your phone. Make sure that your phone has. the latest software update and. is connected to a network, either WiFi or cellular. Have your sensor ready. Keep your sensor close by so. you can apply it when ready. CGM = continuous glucose monitoring.

My Libre 2 came with a reader. I like it because I can use test strips with it to verify a reading with the sensor. If I use my iPhone I have to carry a separate meter. I found it sometimes took several tries to get a sensor read with the iPhone which has iOs 15 on it. Frequently, I would get a message to wait 10 minutes and try again.

It now seems to be working fine. Sensitivity on the app is back to normal and scans work first time with the beep. Crisgood - to delete the app you press and hold until a list of options appear including "remove App". Select this and select "Delete App" then you can just reinstall it.

The release is now 2.5.2 and the 2.5.2 apk is available from various places (I did not want to root my phone)? My previous non patched libre app has been automatically updated to 2.5.2 (though the libre itself is still version 1 - I am hoping libre2 will be available generally from January here).
