In case anyone at OnePlus ( @Jimmy Z.) is interested I have a lot of example photos taken back to back with the OnePlus camera and Google camera port exhibiting the focus, shadow detail and color issues. If anything the Gcam samples prove that the HW in the OnePlus 7 pro is very capable - just the OnePlus camera needs a bit more finesse.
Regarding optics, we get a triple camera setup at the rear and a single selfie camera at the front. The rear camera setup consists of a 50 MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, an 8 MP ultrawide sensor with an f/2.2 lens, and a 2 MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 lens. The selfie camera at the front has a 16 MP primary sensor paired with an f/2.4 lens.
