I've seen plenty of alloys that crack on the inner barrel. If tyres are sealed properly and valves are good a hairline crack can be another cause for regular pressure drop. As Pete said 'corrosion' plus sudden impact/shock via a nasty pot hole can easily cause a crack, happens more frequently with low profile tyres.
tonight I did the procedure about 10-15 minutes max all you need is the correct torxs and a ratchet. step 1. Leave the rear 2 seats folded down seat 6 and 7. step 2. fold the rear boot cover back to get access to the wheel well. step 3. Remove the polystyrene boot tidy compartment. Inflate your tyre, but for no longer than 10 minutes. When you reach the right pressure, switch off the compressor. TOP TIP: The pressure may rise up to 87 PSI (6 bar). But don’t worry, it should drop to normal after about 30 seconds. If your tyre hasn’t inflated after 10 minutes, something’s wrong. Please call for Ford Roadside Assistance. 1.Inflate all tires to pressure listed on vehicleplacard. 2.With the vehicle off, press and release the brake pedal. 3.Press,and hold, the START button until a chime sounds. 4.Power OFFby pushing the button 1 time. 5.Press,and hold, theSTART button until a chime sounds. 6.Power OFFby pushing the button 1 time.
